English Help

International Community High School has access to programs designed to help parents who want to improve their English skills. If you would like to participate in these English programs, stop by the ICHS main office (room 126) and speak to the Parent Coordinator. You can also contact the Parent Association representative at the school.

 

There are several programs that are completely free and really helpful for parents who are interested in improving or learning a whole new language. Certain English programs offered require the following to register:

 

  • New York City resident 21 years or older without a US high school diploma or equivalency. USA (HSE).

  • NO documentation of residency is required (you do not need to be a United States citizen or a permanent resident.

  • For some programs, you need to have a valid city or state ID.

Reading Plus:

Students can practice reading and comprehension skills using this program. They can log in using their ICHS email and code provided by a teacher.
